Refund policy
Dahlia Tuber Refund Policy
All dahlia tubers sold are carefully inspected prior to sale and are provided in high-quality, plant-ready condition, each with:
• An intact tuber body
• A healthy neck
• At least one visible eye
Every effort is made to accurately label all dahlia varieties. While great care is taken during labeling, I am human and occasional mix-ups can happen.
⸻
Mislabeling Policy
If you receive a dahlia that blooms as a different variety than the one purchased, please contact me as soon as possible after the bloom opens.
• A clear photo of the mislabeled bloom is required for verification.
• Once confirmed, a refund will be issued for the affected tuber.
⸻
Virus Disclosure
It is widely known within the dahlia-growing community that approximately 87% of dahlia tubers carry a virus, whether symptoms are visible or not. Many plants will grow and bloom beautifully despite this.
Because of this:
• No refunds will be issued for tubers that present with any form of virus.
Proper sterilization practices are followed when harvesting blooms and dividing tubers, and any plants showing visible virus symptoms early in the season are culled.
⸻
Non-Refundable Conditions
Due to the nature of live plant material:
• No refunds will be issued for tubers that rot, perish, fail to sprout, or are affected by planting conditions, weather, soil, storage, pests, or care after purchase.
• No refunds will be given without photo documentation of a confirmed mislabeled bloom.
By purchasing dahlia tubers, you acknowledge and accept these terms.
Thank you for your understanding and for supporting small, locally grown flowers 🌼
